VisiteFoz is one of the leading producers of digital content and projects about Foz do Iguaçu created in 2008, which seeks to inspire tourists and residents.
We are an independent communication project, created by the social communicator Christhian Gruhn in March 2008. Our essence is to work for the growth of the city of Foz do Iguaçu, focusing on innovation, positioning, and reinvention. We embody the change we would like to see in our city.
We work on a series of private initiative projects, intending to develop the city of Foz do Iguaçu. Allowing an inspiring and differentiated perspective of the region’s tourist market.
In 2020, we restructured projects, starting the Iguazu River and Iguazu Startups Movement initiative. We also have defended a thought of marketing and ethical design, believing in non-consumption, non-violence, and non-exploitation of resources.
For this reason, our content has been reformulated to defend communication and tourism with a positive impact.
With that, we started the following studies and initiatives:
- Maintenance of a light website, designed for information, with a focus on reducing our carbon footprint
- Migration of our visit analysis system to a service focused on the privacy of users’ data
- Gradually narrowing ads
- Gradually removal of external service trackers
- Free use of content
Finally, the development of the website and content is done in Foz do Iguaçu. Still, we want to thank the developers from all over the world for the incredible codes of WordPress and GeneratePress, which not only make our lives easier but make the internet beautiful.
